What we collect

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your generator or project when you call, email, fill out a form on this site, chat with us, apply for a job, or ask about becoming a supplier.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and when. We use these to keep the site running and secure.

Our own pages don't set cookies for visitors. The only cookie this site sets keeps our staff signed in to its admin area. Outside services described below may set their own.

Forms, chat and other services we use

Some forms on this site, including our service request form, are provided by outside services and appear inside our pages. What you enter goes to that service and to us, and is also covered by that service's own privacy policy.

Our chat feature is provided by an outside service. Messages you send through chat are stored by that service so we can read and answer them, and it may use cookies to keep your conversation going.

How we use it

To answer you, schedule and do the work, send quotes, invoices and reports, keep service records for your equipment, send text messages you've agreed to receive, consider job applications and supplier inquiries, and run and protect this website.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the business, such as our website host and our form, chat and text-message providers, and only as much as they need to provide that service to us; with manufacturers or distributors when we need to order parts or handle a warranty claim for your equipment; and when the law requires it.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you automated texts about your service requests, appointments and job updates. We only text about service; we don't send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Opt-in information is shared only with the providers that deliver our messages.

How long we keep it, and keeping it safe

We keep service records for as long as they help us maintain your equipment and as long as tax and business record rules require. Other information is kept only as long as we need it for the reason it was collected.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website, email or text is completely secure, so please don't send payment card or other sensitive financial details by email, chat or text.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we aren't required to keep it, by emailing [email protected]. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

This site is meant for businesses and adults. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
